Organist Vacancy - Kinning Park Parish Church

Kinning Park Parish Church , Glasgow G51

We are a small Parish church on the South Side of Glasgow, and are seeking an organist to cover 2-3 Sundays per month.

Our regular and long-standing organist has retired at the age of 92. Prior to this, we had arranged for others to cover some Sundays, so have an organist on the first Sunday each month, and another covers 1 or 2 Sundays, depending on other commitments.

We are therefore looking for a person to be able to assist on 2 Sundays per month, with a degree of flexibility.

The remuneration is £60 per service. Our services are traditional in style with hymns from CH4.

During the service, the organist will play a piece, of their choosing, for Reflection.

We currently do not have a choir.

The organ is an Allan ADC-221/222/222A.
